Abstract:		 A small crucible used in metalworking, together with pottery, bone and fired clay fragments were recovered from a circular pit. Analysis of the crucible showed that it had been used to melt medium tin, unleaded bronze. The dating of the material from the pit, which seems to be an isolated feature, can be placed in the third or second century BC.
