Abstract: |
The first of Bedfordshire County Council's publications in its "Historical Environment" series stresses the importance of the historic and architectural qualities of old buildings, in particular the small houses and cottages, although grander buildings are also included. There is a chapter on problems of conservation illustrated by case histories. See also description of the Bedfordshire Conservation Officer's work in Curr Archaeol, 4, 1974, 367-72. |
