Abstract: |
Considers the damage being done to archaeological sites as a result of standard agricultural practices by reference to specific surveys carried out at three seheduled ancient monuments at Orsett, Woodham Walter, and Chignall St James. The data so obtained are related to the question of a long-term approach to site identification, dating, scheduling, plough damage assessment, and excavation and preservation. Au(abr) |
