Abstract: |
A continuous watching brief was maintained during the reduction of ground levels outside the western end of the church, in order that repair work to reduce internal dampness could be undertaken. During subsequent work the tomb of Richard de Westcote was opened, cleaned and recorded. It was noted that the tomb had been disturbed at least twice before and may have not been contemporary with the building of the church. Little new information about the archaeology of the Binstead graveyard was discovered. [Au(abr)] |
