Abstract: |
In total, 10 out of 15 evaluation trenches contained archaeological features, although three of these contained tree throws only. It had been possible to project ditch alignments between trenches such as an undated shallow north-south aligned ditch. Further ditches were also found. This evaluation has demonstrated that the probable Roman horticultural system identified in 'Link Road' Excavation Area A does not continue into the De Vere Hotel Site. [Au(abr)] |
