Abstract: |
A one-day evaluation was carried out by staff from Lawson-Price Environmental and Sutton Archaeological Services. Two trenches were excavated, and a series of pits was discovered. One contained three sherds of Late Bronze Age or Early Iron Age pottery and fragments of burnt flint. It was concluded that although the results of the evaluation had been largely negative, the prehistoric finds suggested that further work in the area would be profitable. [Au(adp)] |
