Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report Abstract:	During the course of the evaluation an area along the western margin of the site was identified as having relatively undisturbed soils within which there was potential for archaeological remains. However, four machine excavated trenches produced no indication of any pre-modern activity. The former Heavy Anti-Aircraft Battery A was also investigated and recorded. No evidence was found for the presence of further gun emplacements believed to have existed on the western side of the complex. No pre-modern archaeological deposits or finds were encountered.[Au(abr)]
