Abstract: |
Archaeological monitoring of groundworks associated with the erection of an extension to the rear of number 48 High Street, revealed no significant archaeological deposits or features associated with the early history of the town. Two pits of late post-medieval date, and brickwork associated with a small building removed for the extension, were recorded. [Au] |
