Abstract: |
The watching brief represented phase II of the project. In the course of phase I a series of basements were identified along the north side of Trinity Lane, and were dated to c. 1638. The watching brief reinforced the identification of the basement and it was stated that it represented one of the earliest large-scale uses of brick in the City. [AIP] |
