Abstract: |
<summary>Field survey of Grassington Moor Lead Smelting Mill was undertaken. Surveyed features included remains of the activities of lead smelting, lead mining, coal mining, stone quarrying, water supply and transport. The survey produced detailed records of selected features. Conservation aspects of the site were also examined, as the survey revealed continuing slow deterioration of the majority of the structures on the site. {italon}AIP{italoff} |
