Abstract: |
Two trial trenches were exacavated by machine in the south-western area of the site, which was part of the ancient royal Kingswood Forest. The western wall of a block of domestic properties was recorded, the investigation of which was limited by the presence of active badger runs. The remains of a complete 19th century domestic building were also recorded. No finds were recovered during the evaluation. [AIP] |
