Abstract: |
Two machine excavated trenches, revealed post-medieval evidence for a period of large scale redevelopment of the quay front, from the late 1700's to the late 1800's and may have related to the expansion of the docks area during the growth of rail links and trade transportation. No earlier features or structures were revealed. [Au(adp)] |
