Abstract: |
An assessment in advance of the redevelopment of the campus including the construction of a Management Training Centre identified the location of the western part of the site within a Conservation Area, also incorporating a number of Listed buildings. A number of Roman findspots had been found in the vicinity of the site, as well as finds of Anglo-Saxon, medieval and post-medieval material nearby. Given the relative lack of development in recent decades there was thought to be good potential for the recovery of archaeological remains. [Au(abr)] |
