Abstract: |
<summary>A watching brief was carried out along the line of a new pipe trench. The church appeared to be constructed on a small knoll formed out of natural brickearth. The remaining deposits may have been formed as a result of the construction (in 1804-1806) of the Royal Military Canal - which lay 20m to the south of the pipe trench extremity - and, perhaps, minor work to the church grounds. {italon}AIP{italoff}{spacea} |
