Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was carried during the construction of an extension to the rear of the building. A Roman settlement was postulated to be situated near the development area. Considering the proximity of the site to Roman occupation evidence it was surprising that no Roman remains were located. Post-medieval pottery and modern remains were located. [AIP] |
