Abstract: |
The watching brief was carried out in conjunction with a tree planting exercise. A stone wall was located running through a number of pits. This wall had been robbed in a number of places. Road metalling was noted in some areas, in conjunction with the wall. Demolition rubble was a common feature in all trenches.. In general, past development had truncated most of the archaeological remains. [Au(adp)] |
