Abstract: |
<summary>Desk-based assessment and field appraisal were undertaken of a proposed golf course development. The development area appears to be contained within an agricultural landscape of medieval origin that has remained largely static through intervening centuries. Roman activity is confirmed by a Roman road to the west of the study area and the discovery of two hoards to the south. {italon}AIP{italoff} |
