Abstract: |
Four trenches were excavated in order to evaluate the archaeological potential of a proposed development site. Trench 3, in the south-west of the site, showed evidence of ancient ploughing (plough scores) into the top of the natural gravel. Trench 4 at the south-east of the site revealed undated archaeological activity in the shape of small pits/postholes and a single flexed burial of a juvenile. [Au(adp)] |
