Abstract: |
The evaluation trenches revealed little of archaeological interest. Two trenches were excavated in order to locate the wharf, which indicated that these areas were part of the canal cut that were used for the tipping of building materials and other debris. A detailed record of the bridge itself suggested that the majority of the original 19th century bridge fabric had survived intact.[Au(abr)] |
