Abstract: |
A watching brief was carried out during topsoil stripping along the route of a water pipeline. Several archaeological sites had been recorded in the vicinity, including an Iron Age hillfort, strip lynchets and chalk pits. During the watching brief, no archaeological features were encountered. Post-medieval and modern pottery and building material were noted. [AIP] |
