Abstract: |
Two phases of evaluation trenching was undertaken at the site. The first phase identified a ditch belonging to the Findern/Pollock cursus. A Bronze Age plano convex flint knife was recovered from another ditch. A large Late Iron Age ditch was also identified along with ditches from Roman period enclosures. The second phase revealed undated ditches and another ditch connected with the cursus. [Au(abr)] |
