Abstract: |
The watching brief was undertaken within an area of land which had been identified as containing remains of archaeological interest. Known activity in the vicinity comprised a number of post-medieval half-timbered buildings, ridge and furrow earthworks, and finds of medieval pottery. However, no archaeological evidence was encountered during the watching brief. Evidence of modern dumping was encountered over the site. [Au] |
