Abstract: |
The assessment identified that the site lacked recorded features on historic maps dating to the 18th century. This implied that any archaeological features at the site were likely to be medieval or earlier. The relatively small number of medieval sites within the study area and the virtual absence of prehistoric material other than a series of finds of Mesolithic date, suggested that the overall potential of the site was quite low.
