Abstract: |
The desk-based assessment found that there was no known activity on the site prior to the medieval period. The site was situated between the church and medieval village and probably contained medieval occupation. Buildings were recorded on maps until 1844, before replacement with the rectory in 1891. A pond and earthworks bound the site; possible garden features were also present. [Au(abr)] |
