Abstract: |
Three trial trenches were excavated on the site proposed for kennels. No substantial archaeological remains were found. Evidence for medieval ridge and furrow cultivation and later ploughing was present. Part of a single undated feature may have been of natural origin. A Saxon sherd of pottery was recovered from a medieval ploughsoil. [Au] |
