An archaeological watching brief was undertaken following the granting of planning permission for the erection of six dwelling houses. Initially three trenches were excavated to investigate the nature of the ground. No archaeologically significant deposits were observed. Following this an archaeological watching brief was undertaken during the excavation of the footings for the three house blocks. No materials or deposits of archaeological significance were identified. [Au(abr)] |
