Abstract: |
A watching brief was undertaken at four locations along the route of the A37 improvements. The only possible archaeological feature noted was a bank and ditch at site C, which was excavated by hand. The bank forms the boundary between Melbury Sampford and Melbury Bubb, it may be part of the manorial boundary of Melbury House. [Au(adp)] |
