Abstract: |
Five trenches were excavated. A post-medieval tunnel previously located in an earlier archaeological evaluation was investigated further and its course and construction recorded. A limestone culvert wall and robber trench which were also uncovered were considered to have been the remnants of the former manor houses on the site. All the deposits were of later post-medieval date. [Au] |
