Abstract: |
A watching brief was undertaken over groundworks associated with the construction of a new golf course. The north east corner appeared to have been the site of 18th century landscaping activity. The southern part of the study area appeared to have been frequently used for dumping spoil. A medieval or possibly Roman sherd was found in the vicinity which may have been redeposited during one of these dumping episodes. [Au(abr)] |
