A watching brief was undertaken during the excavation of 39 stanchion pits for the construction of an agricultural building. All the pits were excavated through recently deposited hardcore, approximately 0.35 metres deep and the galciofluvial and and gravel natural. No archaeological features were recorded in any of the pits. [Au(adp)] |
