Abstract: |
<summary>Desk-based assessment and field appraisal were undertaken of the proposed route corridor. It is suggested that the line of a Roman road passes through the study area. There is great potential for surviving medieval archaeology. The Post-Medieval period saw industrial expansion in the area. Further investigation is recommended once the precise line of the route has been decided. {italon}AIP{italoff} |
