Abstract: |
Seven geotechnical pits were monitored. Archaeological deposits were recorded in section in all trenches. Natural ground was not observed during these investigations. The highest survival of archaeological deposits occurred at 0.3m below the floor slab. These were in the form of road deposits and the walls for pre-existing 19th century buildings. [Au(abr)] |
