Abstract: |
Further evaluation of the line of the proposed red route for the road scheme revealed further evidence for a mid-Iron Age settlement site. A number of negative archaeological features, comprising of at least two lengths of ditch, as well as a pit seem to represent former close or woodland boundaries of late medieval or post-medieval date.
