Abstract: |
The watching brief revealed that the site had evidence for medieval settlement activity and similar sites excavated elsewhere suggest that it may date back to the Anglo-Scandinavian period. A large quantity of animal bones recovered suggested that there might have been a tanning site located close by. [AIP] |
