Abstract: |
The evaluation identified that the area had not been truncated as a result of quarrying, as was suspected. Deposits sealed by Holocene colluvium along the Ebbsfleet riverbank represented activity that may have spanned the whole later prehistoric period. These deposits were potentially significant but poorly understood, with a Scheduled Ancient Monument situated directly to the south. [Au(adp)] |
