Abstract: |
<summary>A desk-based assessment, supported by preliminary field survey, was undertaken for an area of land proposed for reclamation which had previously been used for barracks, messes and offices of the WAAF personnel working at the Portreath fighter and bomber airfield during World War Two. Although nearly all of the buildings had been dismantled, the levelled concrete platforms remained, enabling the original layout of the site to be reconstructed. {italon}AIP{italoff} |
