Abstract: |
A study of historic maps showed that the site had been open farmland since at least 1803. Before this it was undrained wetland, with the potential to contain geophysical anomalies and artefacts from the Mesolithic, Neolithic and Early Bronze Age periods. Roman occupation evidence may also have had the potential to be found. [Au(adp)] |
