Abstract: |
During the evaluation, the presence of Roman features was confirmed. These comprised spreads, pits and ditches, including two domestic rubbish pits dating from the 2nd century AD. The foundations of a stone wall which may have related to a 19th century bowling green known to have occupied the site were also noted. [AIP] |
