Abstract: |
Excavations within the grounds of the Abbey revealed little substantial evidence for previous activity on the site. What was revealed was interpreted as being the remains of medieval buildings and subsequent demolition debris caused by the construction of the Kent and Canterbury Hospital in 1793. [AIP] |
