Abstract:		 Geophysical surveys within four sample areas of land revealed evidence for a number of subsurface features of archaeological interest. A dense concentration of linear anomalies, consistent with silted ditches in sample Areas one and two, just south of Whessoe Deserted medieval Village and evidence for further ditches was located in the south of the proposal area.
