Abstract:		 Recording along the route of a new rising main and sewer to the north of Northampton was undertaken. In the Scaldwell to Walgrave section, traces of ridge and furrow and a single modern water pipe were identified. In the sections from Holcot and Hannington Sewage Treatment Works and South of Holcot, no significant archaeological features or deposits were encountered. In the pipeline section from Moulton to Moulton Leys, no archaeological features were identified and only four metal finds of late medieval to post-medieval/modern date were recovered. [AIP]
