Archaeological exavation of a cable trench for a BBC antenna station, situated within an area of previous investigations in 1975 of a Neolithic Causewayed enclosure with two ditches and a possible Iron-Age hillfort (Scheduled Ancient Monument, Gloucstershire 181), revealed no archaeological features and recovered no artefacts.
