Abstract: |
Archaeological features were found within six of the eight trenches excavated. These were all interpreted as ditches and were dated to between the early 1st and mid 3rd centuries AD. Roman deposits were also found in two rather ephemeral "pits". No evidence of a structural nature was recorded and building material finds were limited to one small piece of face ragstone. [Au] |
