Abstract: |
The evaluation revealed a number of boundary ditches dating from the 10th century, possibly forming part of an area of Late Saxon occupation. No structural remains of this date were discovered within the trenches, though Roman building materials from these features suggest either a substantial building of that date in the vicinity or the re-use of a local resource in the Late Saxon period.
