Abstract: |
A study into the location, nature, quality and date of any potential archaeological remains was carried out in an area of a proposed quarry extension. Palaeolithic hand axes have been found nearby and there is evidence for later Prehistoric and Roman activity in the area. Further evaluation work was reccommended. [Au(abr)] |
