Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was prompted by the proposed extension of an existing bungalow and replacement of outbuildings. The site lay within the known extent of the medieval village of Wilby. Evidence for a securely dated late Saxon or early medieval structure was uncovered in the north-eastern part of the site. Post-medieval activity was recorded further to the west. [Au(abr)] |
