Abstract: |
No significant archaeological deposits were found within the excavation in the northern part of the site, apart from the remains of former properties dating from the 19th century and two infilled depressions interpreted as WWII bomb craters. The southern part of the site was found to consist of up to 4 m of demolition debris above the natural clay and limestone. The remains of walls associated with the Yacht Club and a few 19/20th century ceramics were recovered. [Au(abr)] |
