An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during the excavation of catch pits at the church. Two catch pits abutted the north and south walls of the church tower. Catch pit 1 contained post-medieval pottery while catch pit 2 contained modern pottery, which had been discarded. [Au(abr)] |
