Abstract:		 The watching brief, instigated as an emergency, last minute response by Kent CC, revealed assemblages of Roman, medieval and post-medieval pottery and tile. It was clear that the bulk of the deposits were of fluvial origin and probably related to an ancient watercourse. [AIP]
