Abstract: |
The archaeological evaluation indicated that conditions were generally favourable in most parts of the site for the preservation of archaeological remains. The limited extent of the evaluation did not make it possible to determine the presence of archaeological remains on site, although there were a number of prehistoric/Roman ditches in the south-west corner. This level of evidence, however, must be adjudged with regard to the percentage of the area that was evaluated. [Au(adp)] |
